Updated statistics on EB-5 showing growth in the related issuance of Green Cards by year as follows:

…this shows even greater acceleration in successful participation by Investors and also demonstrates the importance of China as a source of participation.

2012: 7641
China (6272 or 82.08%), South Korea (447 or 5.85%), Venezuela (109 or 1.43%), Iran (81 or 1.06%), all other countries (732 or 9.58%)

2011: 3463
China (2530 or 73.06%), South Korea (254 or 7.33%), Iran (117 or 3.38%), UK (57 or 1.65%), all other countries (505 or 14.6%)

2010: 1885
China (866 or 45.94%), South Korea (295 or 15.65%), UK (135 or 7.16%), India (62 or 3.29%), all other countries (527 or 29.96%)

Number of I-526 filed:

2012: 4156 (thru 3Q); 79% approved
2011: 1563; 81% approved
2010: 1369; 89% approved
